My work started as a hobby. I was a preschool teacher for 6 years before I became a full time photographer. As much as I loved teaching I just knew photography was my real passion.

 My youngest son, Maximus, was born eight weeks early and when my maternity leave was up I knew there was no way I could put my little four pound baby in daycare. That's when I made the decision to pursue my passion and start my photography business full time. 

Photography has always been important to me growing up. Flipping through photo albums at my grandparents. My father passed away when I was only eight years old and all I have left of him now are photographs. 

To me this is way more than just making a pretty picture. I want to create images for you that in 20+ years you can relive the wonderful memory or experience again and again.
